Mission Statement

"For those impacted by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, Dawson County Domestic Violence Program is the catalyst for change, utilizing the empowerment model.   We are committed to providing the resources and direction necessary to ensure safety, healing and the prevention of further violence. "

You CAN make it on your own!

We at DCDV are here to provide education, assistance, and resources for anyone at risk of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. If you, or someone you know, is a victim to any of these offenses, please contact us to find out how we can assist you.

HISTORY:

DCDV is one of the oldest domestic violence programs in the state of Montana. The program was organized in 1979 by a woman whose sister was a victim of a domestic violence homicide. Dawson, Wibaux, and Prairie counties are the primary service areas for the DCDV.

In cooperation with our affiliate offices Custer Network Against Domestic Abuse (CNADA) and Richland County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (RCCADV), our goal is to provide outreach to victims in the towns and remote areas of Eastern Montana.
